We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator for a fast paced packaging company based in Launceston. This is a temporary ongoing position with further enhanced pay rates after 12 weeks worked.

As a machine operator you will take full responsibility for the departments operating of its machinery correctly.

You will be joining a company that is focused on sustainable packaging and exceeding their customers' expectations, whilst providing their teams with modern facilities and excellent working conditions.

As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that all products are loaded correctly onto machine processing line
  • Machinery is running at correct speed and any issues are correctly reporting
  • End of line duties to include unloading, stacking and palletising
  • Stock management and replenishment

Working Hours & Pay Rate:

  • Monday to Friday, 6am 2pm / 2pm 10pm (early finish Fridays)
- £11.13ph Basic Rate
- £ £22.26 Overtime Rate

  • Overtime paid after 37.5 hours

Salary:
£11.13 per hour


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Launceston, Cornwall: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
