Calba is a professional services firm.We provide agile coaching, training and delivery services to a mix of clients including tech start-ups, government and global corporates.
We have been in business for over 10-years and have an office in Edinburgh Park.
We are highly active in the Scottish agile community and are the only organisation to have sponsored Lean Agile Scotland every year since it started in 2012.
About the role
This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in a small organisation.
You will play a key role in Calba's day-to-day marketing and operations, interacting with clients, associates and the Scottish agile community.
If necessary, you will be taught agile frameworks/tools to learn more about what we do and to manage your work.
You will self-manage your work based on priorities.
There is a wide range of activities, including:
Front-Desk
- Review invitations to tender
Marketing Campaigns
- Proactively follow up with respondents to progress sales opportunities
CRM System
- Populate and maintain our Zoho Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Use CRM to support campaigns
Operations Support
- Assist with managing training courses (public and private), and other daytoday operations
Website
- Maintain and improve Calba's website using Wordpress/Divi
- Improve SEO
- Coordinate with our website developer as necessary
Graphic Design
- Use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, to create and update graphics for social media, flyers and website
- Coordinate with our professional graphic designer as necessary
Events Management
- Plan marketing for upcoming events/conferences, attend them, and interact with attendees during and after (including online events)
Research & Analytics
- Collate and analyse client feedback, and develop case studies
- Implement analytics for marketing campaigns and website

Essentials Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience of working in marketing
- Customer service, business development and/or sales experience
- Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good writing and communication skills
Nice to have:
- Graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign
- Website development experience
- Wordpress, Divi, or equivalent
- Experience of using a CRM system, such as Zoho, Hubspot, or equivalent
- Understanding of SEO and how to improve
