About the role
Balfour Beatty have an exciting opportunity for a
Health, Safety and Wellbeing Facilitator to join the
Anglian Water Project based in
Peterborough
What you'll be doing
The role involves but not limited to:
- Act as ambassador for our LIFE principles, providing a direct and visible link between our LIFE strategy and delivery outcomes.
- Support Alliance teams in development of their behaviours consistent with the Happier and Healthier & safer elements of our LIFE strategy and delivery plan.
- Support the LIFE Lead in the development, maintenance and review of the LIFE strategy and delivery plan. Support delivery of all Alliance developed Health, Behavioural Safety & Wellbeing training programmes and events.
- Coordinate knowledge reach back into all Partner organisations to ensure knowledge sharing and innovative wellbeing programmes.
- Assess organisational needs, design, plan and deliver (or facilitate with external providers) a programme of Behavioural safety training and coaching for staff across the Alliance and ensure programmes are well planned and delivered successfully.
- Develop and support appropriate measures of the impact of the health, Behavioural Safety & wellbeing (LIFE) programme being delivered.
- Behavioural Safety & Wellbeing training programmes and events.
- Coordinate and develop the internal and external communication plan to include a social media strategy.
- Reporting and advising on the effectiveness and direction of GMHAs
- Support creation of presentation materials as required and support creation of metric reporting as of when its required.
Who we're looking for Skills
:
For this role you'll need to have the ability to effectively collaborate with others therefore great communication skills are needed.
You will have a basic understanding of healthy lifestyles and health promotions.Experience:
It is desirable that you are a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and have First Aider Training however this is not essential.
Ideally you will have experience of implementing workplace behavioural safety, wellbeing, and mental health initiatives. As well as an understanding of health and safety from a behavioural, wellbeing and mental health perspective.You'll have knowledge of public health campaigns for health and wellbeing and knowledge of current legislation in place including the Equality Act and Mental Health Act.
