An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and dynamic administrator to work with the City & Hackney Wheelchair Service Team.

The position necessitates a pro-active, highly organised individual who possesses excellent interpersonal and customer care skills. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is essential.


The Wheelchair Service provides a comprehensive clinical assessment and equipment provision service for children and adults with long term mobility difficulties.

The team consists of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Rehabilitation Engineers, Therapy & Technical Assistants and Administrators. Clients are seen in the community as well as in the Wheelchair Service Clinic based at St Leonard's.

In return for your experience, motivation, and enthusiasm our team will give you the opportunity to develop your skills through:

  • Regular supervision and support from senior staff
  • CPD opportunities.
  • Involvement in service development projects
