Description

We are Recruiting for Employment Support Workers**
Tameside,

Salary up to £28,817

Fixed-term posts until March 2024 with possibility of extension
We have a number of positions for you to work in community or custody settings:
The
Employment Support Worker (ESW) role supports offenders into employment and learning opportunities. This project is co-financed by His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) and the European Social Fund (ESF).

If you have experience of working with offenders or other disadvantaged people and you want to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.

You'll need to be
- proactive
- a good communicator
- effective at working with partner organisations to ensure the best results for our participants.

  • Recording of accurate information on participant plans is an important part of the job, so you'll need to be comfortable working on databases and systems and have a strong attention to detail.

We are especially looking for applicants who can connect with people to help move them forward, embrace the quality and compliance requirements of working on a contract and have the skills to work towards individual performance targets.

We'll give you all the training you need to do the ESW job and provide you with support to get established in the new role.

We employ a team more than 50 ESWs across the NW, who are very proud to work on this highly successful ESF programme.

Our full-time staff enjoy a reasonable 35h working week and we also offer flexi-time, so when we ask our staff to do extra, we always make sure they've got those hours to take back another time.

It's a great benefit of working for Career Connect.

ESWs are paid on a scale between £25,466 and £28,817 and you will be reimbursed for any additional travel, beyond your main base of work.

Our holidays start at 25 days + Bank Holidays and we give up to an extra 6 days a year for staff with longer service.
