As our Sales & Operations Coordinator, you will speak to prospects and customers and shape their perceptions of the business.
With your friendliness, proactivity and efficiency we can make sure that MJP is the go-to electrical company in the region.
Responsibilities include
Your primary role is to drive revenue into the business, you'll manage customer enquiries from the first point of contact through to final follow up and feedback.
Working closely with the Director and Operations Manager, and the rest of the office team, you will complete all the administrative elements of the installation process.
Your responsibilities include:
Inbound Sales
- Managing returning clients
- Managing organic leads
- Developing new relationships and campaigns using the latest systems and technology
- Answering incoming telephone calls in a timely, polite manner
- Advising customers of our range of services that best match their needs
- Providing quotations and closing orders
- Making outbound calls to customers for feedback at the end of a project
- Keep the customer informed with the status of their job
- Keeping up to date KPIs
- Contributing to marketing ideas and strategies
- General admin duties as required
- Training and supervising a trainee Sales Operations Assistant
- Have a strong understanding of the services we offer and a good general knowledge of the Electrical Field
- Speaking to customers in a friendly and informative way
- Reporting to the Operations Manager and Directors
- Escalate feedback from any unsatisfied customers to the Operations Manager
- Attending regular performance meetings
- Attending relevant training sessions
- Accurately logging all new enquiries and service requests in the company systems
- Scheduling new jobs immediately in a suitable time slot for the engineers
- Preparing and managing the weekly engineer schedule
- Building a good rapport with the engineers in the field
To be truly successful in this role, you will ideally have the following skills/experience
Experience / Qualifications
- Good standard of education with a minimum of 5 GCSE's grade 94/A*C, including Maths and English
- At least 24 years proven success of working in a sales role (B2B and B2C)
- Proven experience of working in a similar trade/technical environment
- Experience using CRM and Sale automation platforms
- Meeting KPI targets
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Passionate about personal growth, learning new skills and in turn growing our company

- Positive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Top notch organisational skills, multi tasker and the ability to work under pressure
