We are looking for a Junior Designer to join our team.

This hands on role could be a great fit for a recent university graduate in graphic design or someone looking for the next step in their career.


Reporting into VM, Display and Design Manager (VDDM) the key focuses for this role will be assisting in supplying all channels of the business with the required quality design work, on time and to agreed deadlines.

Supporting the VDDM and wider design team in supplying the business with on brand design.


You'll be working on researching the requirements following design briefs supplied by the VDDM to create impactful, creative and commercial designs for print and online.

Alongside supervising the print runs, prioritising where necessary and supporting the whole design team with general administrative and printing tasks.


Main responsibilities will include:
VM

  • Design and develop from briefs & templates promotional and generic POS,
  • Design and develop from briefs & templates VM treatments,
  • Liaise closely with printers ensuring timely production & delivery of work,
  • Weekly store walk in Regent Street,
  • Checking all POS and Graphics are on brand,
  • Supporting with the cutting and pasting of any/all POS to stores,
  • Distributing POS to each of the floors in Regent Street.

Marketing

  • Supply Marketing with relevant promotional design work, liaising closely with external agencies and suppliers.

Brand

  • Support the VDDM in protecting and promoting the brand cohesively to the same high standard across all channels.

Design Archive

  • Help maintain the design archives and share relevant files when requested.

Specific Job Skills:

  • Fluent on Mac and PC
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (CS6) Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop,
  • Microsoft Office (Word PowerPoint and Excel),
  • Extremely organised and methodical,
  • Good knowledge of print methods and file preparation for print.

Education:


  • Qualified to Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree level in a relevant Design field, from a recognised Art University not essential but advantageous.
