Do you work in Hospitality or Catering and for more convenient hours, working Monday to Friday? We are currently recruiting a Catering Team leader to join our team within Perth College.

Perth College is a busy campus with 3 different sites set on the outskirts of the city and we support a thriving student scene.

Aramark is the catering company that provides both students and staff with a range of catering and Hot drink operations.


The ingredients for success


Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of our food service, ensuring standards are met at all times.

The role will include a variety of operational tasks, retail and catering services, assisting with hospitality and functions within the college and assisting the Manager with admin duties including banking and ordering.

You will be working with both the Aramark team and college student staff whose aim is to provide an efficient and professional service to students and college staff.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting any operational area as required, this will include Barista work to a Costa / Starbucks standard as both units on campus.
  • Assisting in retail environment as required
  • Front of House food and drinks service over busy operational times and ensuring prompt and friendly service in all areas.
  • Overseeing back of house operations to ensure standards and consistency of hygiene and food safety are always met.
  • Supervising team members and assisting where required.
  • Ensuring correct food storage and stock rotation in all areas.
  • Assisting with monthly stocktaking and recording.
  • Undertaking any hospitality food and beverage service as required by the college for meetings, functions etc
  • Administration duties will also include cash handling, ordering of supplies, recording of business data and weekly banking.
  • Assisting the Manager with promotions and advertising to students and college staff

Qualifications and experience needed

  • Previous Hospitality experience would be an advantage
  • Previous Supervisory experience
  • A passion for food and service
  • Flexible approach to hours and duties
  • Full clean driving licence with own vehicle
  • Strong admin skills including use of IT
  • Previous supervisory experience is essential
