Description
Supplying a specialist range of products to a loyal and established customer base our client is one of the UK's leading manufacturing and distribution businesses in their sector.
They have created an exciting new opportunity for a Director of Sales to join the business, working in a fast paced and high growth environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director you will be managing and developing a high-performing sales function creating a sales strategy to achieve the growth plans of the business.
Whilst managing existing client relationships and delivering revenue and margin growth you will need to motivate the internal and business development team in converting leads into sales through reviewing and driving accountability for KPIs whilst training and upskilling the team.
The successful individual will also be instrumental in the development of the CRM system to help position the business for further growth.
As a committed team player with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, you must be able to demonstrate you are a skilled people manager, having managed and developed a sales team before and are a natural communicator.
With a growth mindset you will be a natural motivator and leader, having previously held a similar sales role and successfully met and exceeded targets.
