Service Charge & Management Accountant.

Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset. Circia £30K-45k depending on experience.

A national provider of Student Accommodation is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to produce service charge accounts accross a portfolio of properties under magagement.

Main Responsibilties;

Working with the Head of Accounts,to help to manage the service charge bank accounts for the buildings managed across the portfolio.
To identify and recommend potential areas for business improvements to the Head of Accounts and to the Board as appropriate
To ensure that all tight reporting and other deadlines and standards are always met
To prepare management accounts (including income and expenditure account and balance sheet) for all managed buildings
To analyse and reconcile the building service charge bank account in the block management reporting system with the control accounts in the company's nominal ledger every month
To liaise with reporting accountants on end of year service charge accounts production
To prepare and issue section 20B notices where necessary
To review large expenditure invoices and challenge as required
To ensure incoming data on building handovers is inputted into systems
To oversee the collection of service charges demanded with the leaseholder liaison team, ensuring that all overdue debts are followed up on a regular basis
To review end of year service charge accounts with the finance director
