Harewood Downs Golf Club is a vibrant golf club situated near Amersham in Buckinghamshire. The golf course is of high specification as is the Clubhouse and dining facilities.

Having recently been extended and refurbished, it is a fantastic place to relax and meet friends.

The dinning and events area offers panoramic views of the course and surrounding countryside and a great ambience to work in.

Operating hours are oriented towards daytime service with only occasional evenings when hosting club or private events.

Overview of Role

We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our small and friendly team and who will lead this team in the Head Chef's absence.

Teamwork is important, so good interpersonal skills, communication and a sense of service and pride in your kitchen and food standards are fundamental.

You will have an eye for detail ensuring all dishes are prepared to benchmarked specification, we encourage the use of fresh ingredients and creativity, and you will have scope to implement your ideas and develop our menus.

Planning and development of recipes and menus for the bar and function facilities.
Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment, ensure food and safety plan is implemented and correctly documented.
Preparation and delivery of a highquality fresh food service.
Knowledge of inventory control procedures, procurement, and cost control.
Leading the team in the absence of the Head Chef
