Nova Facilities is seeking skilled and experienced Construction Workers to join our dynamic team.

This role is ideal for individuals who have specialized in plumbing, carpentry, and partitions, and possess significant experience with council void contracts.

As a Construction Worker at Nova Facilities, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality construction services on various projects, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Council Void Contracts: Undertake repair and refurbishment work on council properties, ensuring they are brought back to a habitable standard efficiently. Experience in managing voids, understanding the specific requirements, and working within set timelines is essential.
• Plumbing: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties. This includes fitting bathrooms, kitchens, and carrying out emergency repairs.
• Carpentry: Perform a range of carpentry tasks, including but not limited to, installing doors, windows, stairs, and framing buildings. Ability to work on bespoke carpentry solutions for refurbishment projects.
• Partitions: Installation of various types of partitions, including drywall and modular systems, ensuring they meet the project's specifications and quality standards.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with building codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in construction, specifically with council void contracts.
• Current CSCS card.
• Specialised skills in plumbing, carpentry, and partitions.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
