The Best Connection are recruiting a
Plater for a full time vacancy based in Bishop Auckland.

Our client is a leading structural steel fabricator, due to growth, they require an additional Plater to join the team on a full-time basis.

This vacancy is an ongoing position with a view to a permanent role after a qualifying period


The role:

  • Fabrication duties using structural steel
  • Working with deatiled fabrication drawings
  • Quality control of final item
  • Experienced Plater with a history of working with structural stee
  • Previous experience of working with detailed fabrication drawings.

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Standard working hours of 7am 4pm

Pay Rates:
- £15.00 per hour (PAYE) basic rate for first 45 hours worked
- £22.50 per hour after 45 hours worked per week and any hours worked Saturday
