Located at Head office - Stroud - hybrid working.

Main Responsibilities
Financial Management
Develop and manage the annual budget in collaboration the Senior Leadership Team & Treasurer
Oversee financial planning, forecasting, payroll, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements - Charities SORP (FRS102), Charity Commission rules and regulations alongside other legal requirements.
Ensure cost effective measures are being implemented.
Line Management
Responsibility for line managing two part time finance administrators including managing and allocating work, guiding instructing and supporting guiding and instructing,
Ensuring that finance administrators are implementing financial policies, and fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance within all finance activities.
Contribute to the development and implementation of the organisation's strategic plan.
Create and contribute to establishing key performance indicators in relation to finance and operational remit.
Identify opportunities for growth and sustainability.
Senior Leadership Team
Work collectively as part of the senior leadership team (including
CEO & Head of Clinical Strategy & Development)
Deputise for the
CEO as required.
Reporting and communication
Prepare monthly management accounts for the board of trustees and senior leadership team alongside clear written explanations of the accounts.
Communicate financial and operational updates to relevant parties.
Monitor and report on funding and grants.
Risk Management
Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
Ensuring insurance policies are up to date and relevant.
Implement best practices for internal controls and governance.
Person Specification
Qualifications:
Professional Accountancy Qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ ACA / AAT) part of fully. Or qualified by experience.
Experience & Knowledge
Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning, preferably in voluntary and charitable sector.
Experience and knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in financial software and tools.

Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
