Actual salary pro rata:
£19,777 - £21,535

SEN Allowance £1,455 per annum

32 hours 55 minutes per week, Term time only 190 days

Hollinwood Academy is part of the New Bridge Multi Academy Trust.

Hollinwood Academy provides a broad and balanced curriculum that enables children and young people from reception to Key Stage 4 to access creative learning opportunities tailored to meet their individual needs.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate how they meet the following essential criteria:

  • NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of supporting students who have a diagnosis of autism and/or and speech, language, and communication needs
  • Experience of successfully implementing interventions in supporting social, emotional and behavioural needs
  • Experience of preparing/contributing to learning resources to support learning programmes
  • Organisation and selfmanagement skills to efficiently undertake a high level of data collection and record keeping
  • Interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with students and colleagues
  • Communication skills and professionalism to liaise sensitively and effectively with parents and carers
