A full time Trainee Bookkeeper is required to join a modern, technology focused accounting and software company in Wirral.

Job Description_


We are looking for an individual to join our bookkeeping department as a trainee with the goal of either becoming a fully proficient bookkeeper or going on to become a trainee accountant within the company.


Duties will include:


  • Bookkeeping for our clients on various systems including Pandle, Xero, Sage, Excel
  • VAT returns
  • Accounts prep/tax if/when the bookkeeping work is quiet
  • Periodically reviewing client's records in Pandle to ensure they are accurate for the accountants
  • Helping clients switch from their previous bookkeeping system to Pandle
  • Pandle training sessions for new clients who request this service

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Must be thorough and accurate, producing a high quality of work with attention to detail.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and desire to get the job done
  • Must work well under pressure and be able to meet tight deadlines
  • Should be able to adapt and take on different responsibilities as and when it is required from them.
  • Must be happy completing a wide variety of work from the sometimes tedious data input to more skilled areas of bookkeeping.
  • Must be dependable, very trustworthy and conscientious

Salary:
£20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
