A full time Trainee Bookkeeper is required to join a modern, technology focused accounting and software company in Wirral.

Job Description_

We are looking for an individual to join our bookkeeping department as a trainee with the goal of either becoming a fully proficient bookkeeper or going on to become a trainee accountant within the company.

Duties will include:

Bookkeeping for our clients on various systems including Pandle, Xero, Sage, Excel
VAT returns
Accounts prep/tax if/when the bookkeeping work is quiet
Periodically reviewing client's records in Pandle to ensure they are accurate for the accountants
Helping clients switch from their previous bookkeeping system to Pandle
Pandle training sessions for new clients who request this service

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Must be thorough and accurate, producing a high quality of work with attention to detail.
Must have a strong work ethic and desire to get the job done
Must work well under pressure and be able to meet tight deadlines
Should be able to adapt and take on different responsibilities as and when it is required from them.
Must be happy completing a wide variety of work from the sometimes tedious data input to more skilled areas of bookkeeping.
Must be dependable, very trustworthy and conscientious
