Team Structure

This fraud team is one of the top teams in the world, ranked highly for civil fraud, and tier 2 in Chambers & Partners global 'Asset Tracing & Recovery' guide.

It works on the largest civil fraud and asset recovery cases globally, and is currently handling a number of $1 billion+ cases.

The team is ambitious and growing. Having been exceedingly busy over the last years, it is now looking to add another associate to the team.

The team acts for claimants and defendants, and has a diverse client base, including companies (from the UK and abroad), insolvency practitioners, and ultra-high net worth individuals.

A significant part of the team's case load involves freezing orders and other interim injunctions, and almost all the work is cross border.

All the associates in the team gain significant court experience, usually attending multiple hearings every year. The team's work is focussed exclusively on civil litigation; it does not work on regulatory or criminal investigations.

Associates are encouraged to take responsibility early, with plenty of direct contact with clients, experts and counsel.

Associates work for the two core partners within the team, and efforts are made to ensure all associates have a mixed case load.

The partners are committed to the professional development of the team, and actively invest time in mentoring and training.

Associates get involved in marketing from the time they qualify, with the support of the partners and more experienced associates, and there are lots of opportunities to attend team marketing events.

Attributes/Skills Required
Qualified lawyer with civil litigation experience from a large firm in a highly regarded civil litigation department
