About Cloud Infrastructure Services:


The Cloud Infrastructure Services business unit reflects the Collaborative Business Experience, combining Capgemini's consulting, infrastructure transformation build and run capabilities, as well as the provision of hybrid cloud-based services in an integrated global sales and delivery model.

The group provides infrastructure outsourcing services, including data centre, end user, helpdesk support, as well as market leading services such as service integration and cloud brokering orchestration.

The group also provides infrastructure transformation services, helping clients to optimise their technology estates and support business digital transformation.


An overview of the role:


The GTM role is a lead role within the CIS Private Sector cluster that drives the development of new business, and development of growth opportunities.

They work independently providing services to the cluster leadership such as:
technical evangelism, opportunity development, opportunity creation and sales planning.


The role is a consultancy core skillset and requires good knowledge of the sector that the role sits, they will have the ability to develop relationships both internally and externally at a senior level.


The typical technical skillsets will include EUS, Cloud, Enterprise Service Management and Engineering, whilst these are wide ranging the role is expected to act with breadth across the portfolio rather than absolutely expertise in one part.


  • Provide key knowledge and technical leadership to the CIS sales team and Market Unit.
  • Promote and contextualise CIS offerings for the different Market Units.
  • Develop strategic and tactical sales planning with the CIS and MU sales teams.
  • Actively drive sales within the chosen market(s) and client(s). Both by actively driving with prospective new clients, and by forming an extension of the Market Unit account client teams.

This may take the form of RFP response, proactive proposal selling, campaign selling and offer development.

Build strong relationships with Capgemini's partner organization such as; Hyperscalers, product and technology vendors.

  • The individual must come from a presales background and have experience of working with sales teams to deliver growth. The role requires a background in both delivery (either technical or project management) and current sales experience.
  • Certifications may vary but can include Hyperscaler, Service Management (ITIL) or project management (APM, PRINCE2).
  • Knowledge of typical areas of infrastructure portfolio i.e., End User Services (traditional and Cloud). Cloud Services (transformation and run), Enterprise Service Management (Digital Service Model, ServiceNow), Engineering Services (i.e., Platform, DevOps, FinOps etc.)
  • Transformation understanding of complex technology and business change landscapes
  • Customer first and at the heart of change
Skills.- Extensive experience of working at senior levels, as a trusted advisor to CIOs and CXOs

  • A track record of leading technology and digital strategy engagements from advisory through sales
  • Proven track record of developing and building an advisory, consulting and delivery orientated relationships with key clients
  • Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts in workload.
  • Project management skills to ensure all deliverables are on time, within budget and of high quality.
  • DevOps experience/awareness
  • Strong verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate information to clients and internal team members.
  • Strong analytical skills are needed to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose highlevel information into details
  • Experience of working to budgets/forecasting
