Role description:

This opportunity sits within the Asset Management Transformation team, part of our growing and dynamic UK Business Transformation (Management Consulting) and larger Global Business Advisory practice.

This team is dedicated to enhancing the organisational maturity of our clients to maximise value from their assets over the whole lifecycle, underpinned by better planning, upskilling workforces and data led decision-making that optimises outcomes for customers, stakeholders, and society in a sustainable way.

We are management consultants with an asset management specialism, from a range of engineering, technical, commercial, and business backgrounds.

Our Asset Management (Business Transformation) team provides advice and delivers change programmes and initiatives for clients across a wide range of infrastructure, asset types and sectors, including but not limited to Rail, Roads, Water and Electricity Utilities, Defence, Environment, Central and Local Government.

Our experts in asset management and business transformation work closely with technical, commercial and management specialists from across Arcadis, providing both best practice market insights and practical implementation advice.

Role accountabilities:

Workstream and team leadership through the project lifecycle, from sales, solution design and activity planning to successful delivery and knowledge capture
Tackling complexbuilt asset centric related problems, as part of a wider management consulting engagement, designing and implementing solutions that add business value
Our programmes are widely varied but typical value propositions offered in our Asset Management service line are as follows:
Strategic business planning, asset management policy and strategy advisory
Asset management transformation strategy, business case and programme definition to increase client maturity by embedding asset management capability
Enterprise architecture for the future asset management operating model, defining the tobe process, data, digital and people enabling capabilities and requirements
Whole life cost and value optimisation, improving investment decisionmaking through asset base prioritisation
Operational efficiency, reducing organisational expenditure by identifying and implementing the efficiency opportunities
Performance improvement, by identifying and delivering valueled transformation of processes and systems
Risk and resiliency, by mitigating business risks through assurance and planning
Asset information and data, realising the full value of an asset base through information system implementation and data improvement
Continuous development of our Asset Management services and sectorspecific offerings
Support and own aspects of team strategy, team members and capability building activities
Development of strong, partnering relationships with client personnel at peer and senior levels
Support the 'onproject' development of team members' skills towards their career goals
Business development, bidding and supporting sales

Qualifications & Experience:

Whether you come from a built asset or consulting background, you will join an entrepreneurial team that is growing fast.

Ideally you will be a proven professional in the built asset environment coming from either an organisation which owns, operates, or manages assets, or a consulting organisation, with an understanding of what it takes to grow business and build relationships.

You will be a problem solving and output thinking individual, who can understand clients' business needs and deliver solutions.

You will also have the following key skills and expertise:

Demonstrable track record of working on asset management or management consulting projects in a relevant sector (Property, Public Sector, Infrastructure, Energy, Utilities and Transportation)
Significant experience, content knowledge and practice of at least one o
