Donnini Apartments, a leading serviced accommodation management company operating 50 apartments across Ayrshire and a 12-bed hotel, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Facilities Assistant to join our dedicated team.

If you have a knack for maintenance, possess excellent handyman skills, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Perform general handyman duties within the hotel and apartments.
Execute routine maintenance tasks to ensure the properties are in optimal condition.
Assemble linen bags and manage linen inventory.
Unpack linen deliveries and organise storage efficiently.
Respond promptly to callouts to assist with guest requirements and property needs.
Conducting property inspections and reporting maintenance and cleaning issues to the appropriate departments.
Assisting in property onboarding in relation to maintenance, furniture building and inspections.
Collaborate with the Operations team to address and resolve maintenance issues.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety across all properties.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality or property management industry.
Strong handyman skills and the ability to perform various maintenance tasks.
Excellent organisational and timemanagement skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Willingness to be oncall for emergencies outside of regular working hours.
Physical fitness and ability to lift/move heavy objects.
Electrical, plumbing or joinery trades experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Clean UK Driving Licence is essential.

Salary:
£20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
