    Description

    Job Title: Senior Project Manager

    RVA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join their Transportation team in a full-time permanent position. The ideal candidate will have 15 years of progressive experience in design engineering for linear infrastructure projects, with expertise in managing transportation engineering projects and providing project engineering and technical expertise.

    Duties:

    • Managing Transportation Engineering projects including financial and schedule controls, project management, client relationships, and securing approvals from agencies.
    • Providing project engineering and technical expertise, analysis and design services on transportation projects.
    • Participating in studies, assessments, preliminary and detailed design, cost estimates, specifications, contract documents, tendering, and contract administration.
    • Liaising with clients, subconsultants, regulatory and utility agencies, and contractors.
    • Planning projects, developing accurate scopes of work, cost estimates, project plans, schedules, and deliverables to execute high-quality projects on time and on budget.
    • Mentoring and coaching project teams including technical and field staff.
    • Project management (PMP) designation considered an asset.

    Requirements:

    • 15 years of progressive experience in design engineering for linear infrastructure projects.
    • Expertise in managing transportation engineering projects.
    • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microstation.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
    • Proven capabilities in writing reports and other technical documents.
    • Superior oral and written English communication skills.

    The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location.
