Reports to:
Workshop Manager


Position Details

Job Purpose:
To work as part of the Workshop department, in a standalone position.

This role plays a critical part in the process of turning our machines around that have just arrived back from a completed job, to getting them back out to a new site.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Initial examination in surface to be treated, to determine work required
  • Preparation of surfaces to be painted
  • Preparing paints to be applied. This may involves mixing paints, so knowledge of paint material & chemical agents is beneficial
  • Quality checking finished items before releasing items for redistribution
  • Performing regular maintenance checks on all tools, equipment, and machinery
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Responsible for managing and prioritising workload
  • Keep area Spray booth tidy and clean
  • Ensure effective communications at all levels
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures as well as legislation
  • Any other duties commensurate with the role

Experience, Qualifications & Skills required

Minimum Experience Required:

  • Experience of similar work preferred.
  • Knowledge of mastclimbers an advantage

Preferred Education Requirements:

  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • Required Technical Skills:
  • Various Construction Skills to CITB or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of how to use tools (as required)
  • Experience with smart devices and able to use Excel.
  • Physically fit
  • Forklift Licence beneficial but not essential

Salary:
£22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
