The Role

Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their floor fitting requirements and provide expert advice and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with the contracts team to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
  • Schedule and manage the installation of flooring projects, ensuring timely completion and quality workmanship.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements, take accurate measurements, and provide accurate cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and ensure availability for each project.
  • Oversee the ordering and delivery of materials, ensuring they meet project specifications and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress, address any issues or delays, and provide regular updates to clients.
  • Conduct quality inspections upon project completion to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of project details, including measurements, materials used, and client communication.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and advancements in floor fitting techniques.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Floor Fitter, preferably in a customerfacing role.
  • Good IT skills to add and monitor jobs and invoices on the Acumatica system
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Proficiency in using floor fitting tools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of different flooring materials, techniques, and installation methods.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in relation to floor fitting.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites as required.

Essential

  • The post holder must be able to work efficiently & effectively on their own with minimum supervision. The ability to plan the work and adapt to the changing demands of the Client and projects are important in this role.
  • Previous flooring experience, current CSCS card, Flooring NVQ, Full clean driving licence. DBS Clearance

Salary:
£35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
