Service Controller


A fantastic opportunity is available for a Service Controller based in Biggleswade, for a multinational equipment manufacturer, to provide effective communication with Field Service Engineers and customers, ensuring parts and services are provided on time, whilst ensuring outstanding customer service.


What will the right person look like?


The ideal Service Controller will have previous experience working with Warranties, Servicing and Parts, excellent communication skills, be able to use own initiative, and be IT literate including use of Microsoft packages.


What will you be doing?

  • Ensure regular maintenance of machines is carried out, by monitoring and recording of machine hours
  • Liaise with customers to schedule maintenance / servicing of machines
  • Communicate with Field Service Engineers to compile and prepare estimates for secondary work reported from services
  • Ensure warranty / exchange and new parts are returned within a set time frame
  • Raise sales orders and warranty orders
  • Continually maintain close communication with Field Service Engineers, internal departments, suppliers and customers to keep them advised of the progress of jobs and any outstanding work

Hours/Salary/Benefits


The Service Controller will work 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with some Saturday mornings, paid as Overtime.

Salary:
£28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

  • Weekend availability
