The Company

With a significant investment in research and development, advanced technology and skills our client has become a market leading manufacturer and distributor who are rapidly becoming a respected organisation globally.

Due to significant business growth, theyare looking to appoint a high calibre individual to support their digital transformation onto the cloud.

The Role

This is a critical role to ensure the smooth and successful operation of IT systems across the Group with key responsibilities including working with the IT Team in the implementation of the IT Strategy, maintaining and enhancing the IT systems and networksand also the identification and management of all security risks.

An emphasis on digital transformation to embrace and embed cloud technologies with Azure will be a key focus of this role.

As a newly created position the role will be split between day-to-daymanagement of the IT systems and driving new projects particularly around digital transformation and cloud deployment.

With an interest and desire in everything IT related this is a pivotal role in the strategy and development of IT within Group and you must be able to demonstrate you are able to work and communicate effectively with all levels in the organisation.

Knowledgeof ERP systems within a manufacturing environment would be a distinct advantage and experience of Cloud Platform setups including transitioning to the Cloud will be essential with proven experience working with Azure.
