Temporary Compliance Coordinator


One of the leading interpreting and translation services worldwide is looking for a Compliance Coordinator to join their fast-paced and growing business for 4-6 weeks.

They are looking for a team player who takes a proactive and detailed approach to work. This role is hybrid.

The position includes excellent pay of £13.50 per hour depending on your experience and has favourable working hours of 9 am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday.


The Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance tasks relating to the interpreter pool are conducted in accordance with contractual obligations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • A Running DBS expiry reports to organise and conduct renewals for the existing interpreter base
  • Complete monthly checks of the visa status to ensure all interpreters are meeting the work eligibility requirements. Liaising with the interpreter base to ensure correct documentation is held
  • Onboarding all interpreters for training, liaise with UK and US teams to ensure completion
  • Providing regular progress updates via Excel to management team
  • Working with the Client Services team to fulfil requests for interpreter witness statements
  • Investigating and resolving interpreter payment queries and logging detailed outcomes on
  • Salesforce using Support Requests
  • Monitor and manage all UK interpreter Support Request
  • To assist with the monitoring of Interpreter Q times and act as additional resource to increase interpreter coverage where necessary
  • Take personal responsibility for ensuring that personal information is used fairly and lawfully within GDPR guidelines, report any personal data security incidents immediately and abide by the Information Security Policy detailed in the Staff Handbook
  • Any other duties as appropriate to the post

Person Specification
The following range of experience, knowledge and skills are required:

  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
  • Proactive and innovative approach
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Work well under pressure
  • Strong excel skills & attention to detail
  • Establish credibility with freelance interpreter base
  • Exposure to busy/high pressure role
  • Multitasking, with dual admin responsibilities
