Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Street Scene Team Leader to work in Rugby. This position is initially for a period of 3 months and is paying £22.55 PAYE or £28.25 umbrella. The working hours are Monday - Friday from 8am - 4pm.The role:
To drive improvements in the corporate priorities by being a proactive champion of street scene services for the community
The post holder advises the council on policy matters within the post holder's responsibilities.
The post holder works with council staff, at all levels, receiving general guidance on corporate and service policies and priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise the Council in the evolution of its aspirations for the "Public Realm", in combination with other teams within the Council and recommend changes to strategies, policies and service delivery that would bring improvements to the publics' perception of their "Public Realm".
- Provide leadership and direction to staff within the Street Scene service area to ensure that the team contributes to its full potential in the delivery of the Councils priorities.
- Working with colleagues in the Council, other agencies and organisations to maximise the impact of service improvements on the general street scene in Rugby Borough.
- Develop the Street Scene Service and ensure that appropriate strategies and policies are delivered, promoted and effectively marketed in such a way to ensure the service is inclusive and sustainable.
- Manage the implications of town centre development and other street scene issues through liaison with Rugby First/BID company, developers, Warwickshire County Council and other agencies and partners, to ensure that a highquality street scene is maintained throughout the Borough, with maximum value for money for the community.
- Ensure the effective arrangements for the delivery and/or procurement of engineering, design and landscaping projects.
Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications: Degree within a relevant field.

Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.

Compliance: Proof of right to work in the UK and 2 x references.

Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.

Hours: 37 hours p/w.
