Business AdministratorOur client has an exciting opportunity for a Business Administrator to join them on a permanent basis.
Location - LE67
Working hours - 40 hours per week with 1 hour lunch breaks daily
The business administrator will play a vital role in the day to day running of our business with focus on the below:
- Give competent and effective support to both our sales and our operational activities through the cohesive organisation and analysis of our workflow management systems (simPRO) as well as all other internal systems.
- Project support for tender completion, quoting, procurement and stock, along with client handover documentation and site requirements.
- Supplier analysis to ensure the most efficient costs and payment terms are being obtained.
- Company vehicle and fleet management and compliance.
- Staff training, budgets and grants.
- Support other members of the team in accreditation (both industry standard and discipline specific), business compliance and Quality Management ISO 9001 management.
- Property management support
- Understanding the correlation between our workflow management (simPRO) and accounting systems (Xero) to ensure that all data is being inputted/outputted correctly.
- Understanding Accreditation requirements and supporting other team members to ensure qualifying documentation is live and updated.
- Understanding compliancy requirements and ensuring all areas of the business are compliant as necessary.
- Understanding and monitoring our Quality Management systems ISO 9001, to ensure ongoing audits are complete and up to date along with Management review meeting scheduled and actions completed.
- Overall Brand champion
Excellent analytical skills will mean that understanding, interpreting and organising data will enable the Business Administrator to enhance and improve the efficiency of our business performance at every level and in every aspect of our operational activities.
A successful Business Administrator will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications that include having outstanding people skills and the ability to succeed in their profession.
- Proven verbal and written communication skills along with competent IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint is required)
- Experience in SimPRO and Xero is highly beneficial but not essential
- Ability to collect, analyse and sort data to prepare reports and budgets.
- Tracking the business expenditure efficiently and effectively in certain areas.
- Negotiating agreements with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal people skills to help provide great cohesion between internal departments and with clients and suppliers.
- Works well individually and also as part of a team
