The White Rose Academies Trust is a Leeds-based multi-academy trust with a reputation for raising ambitions, engaging local communities and rapid school improvement.
The trust consists of three secondary schools - Leeds City Academy, Leeds East Academy and Leeds West Academy, and also welcomed its first primary school (Alder Tree Primary Academy) on 1st December 2020.
Role:
As the Apprentice Trust Project Officer working in the Marketing, Communications, Projects, and Events team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Marketing, Communications, Projects and Events, the Trust Project Lead and the Trust's Creative Team in achieving a wide range of operational and strategic objectives.
This role requires professionalism, strategic thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders on multiple projects at a time.
As part of this role, you will undertake a Digital Marketer Degree with Leeds Trinity University. 6 hours from your 37 hours per week will be allocated to study/time attending university. Additional training on all duties and responsibilities of the role will be provided in-house.You will be based at the Trust Head Office within our Leeds City Academy in Woodhouse but may sometimes be required to work from or attend meetings at our other academies.
This role is extremely varied and wide ranging.You will be involved in all aspects of marketing and communications for the trust and its academies and also the planning and running of various events throughout the year such as TSLG graduations, community support events and more.
You will also work on many different projects which can be anything from classroom refurbishments, special student groups and trips such as Empower, Trust Student Leadership and Diverse-City, to supporting with the organising of Trust recruitment fairs, the list goes on.
