Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Admin/Accounts Assistant to join our team. We are a small commercial maintenance company serving the South-East.

As an Admin/Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our small accounting department by performing various administrative and clerical tasks.

Duties

  • Be first port of contact
  • Assist with data entry of financial transactions into the computerized accounting system
  • Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of financial transactions
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense
  • Create permits for health & safety
  • Provide general administrative support
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you need:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Accurate data entry skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to type accurately and efficiently
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks

Preferable:

  • Knowledge of Autoentry & Xero
Please note that we have no parking on site.

However, we are located on a busy high street which allows parking nearby for a fee or easy access on public transport.


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Salary:
£22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year


Expected hours:
No less than 25 per week


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (required)

Language:


  • English (required)
