Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Admin/Accounts Assistant to join our team. We are a small commercial maintenance company serving the South-East.As an Admin/Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our small accounting department by performing various administrative and clerical tasks.
Duties- Be first port of contact
- Assist with data entry of financial transactions into the computerized accounting system
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of financial transactions
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense
- Create permits for health & safety
- Provide general administrative support
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you need:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent administrative skills
- Accurate data entry skills with attention to detail
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
Preferable:
- Knowledge of Autoentry & Xero
However, we are located on a busy high street which allows parking nearby for a fee or easy access on public transport.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time
Salary:
£22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
Expected hours:
No less than 25 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (required)
Language:
- English (required)
