Job Summary

What is the opportunity?
The role comprises working on M&A transactions and opportunities for various sector clients. The Associate is expected to support senior bankers in executing M&A transactions and other business activities.


What will you do?

  • Assist in execution of M&A deals (take leading role on specific project work streams)
  • To work as directed by senior bankers on M&A transactions across various sectors.
  • Preparation of M&A marketing pitchbooks and related materials
  • Financial modelling and analyses
  • Producing and maintaining various M&A databases

What do you need to succeed?

Must have

  • University education or equivalent
  • Skills typical for an Associate in investment banking
  • Comprehensive understanding of the valuation approaches typically used
  • Previous investment banking or corporate M&A experience
  • M&A transaction experience
  • Attention to detail, with an analytical approach
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients
  • Teamwork approach with colleagues
  • Hardworking, enthusiastic, and a professional work ethic
  • Strong analytical skills (financial modelling)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (fluent written and spoken English)
  • Advanced computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Nice to have

  • Previous M&A advisory experience (investment bank / big 4 accounting firms)
