The Scottish Qualifications Authority is Scotland's national awarding and accreditation body.

We are looking for a HR Systems Administrator to work within our People directorate.

This role is suited to someone looking to work in a friendly team and who likes to get the job done to a high standard.


  • Generate and maintain accurate records in various formats, ensuring information is uptodate, stored securely, is readily retrievable and complies with data protection legislation.
  • Working with users to troubleshoot issues, and provide 1st Line Support for HR systems queries
  • Assist with the planning, coordination and execution of system testing, upgrades, developments, to ensure the ongoing viability of the systems to meet organisational requirements.
Additionally, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Have previous experience using an integrated HR/Payroll system
  • Strong capability and understanding Microsoft software, Excel and Outlook in particular.
  • Working to deadlines and prioritising tasks to manage workload
We are looking for a confident system user with a genuine interest in HR Systems

Applicants, as a minimum, should be educated to SCQF Level 5 (National 5/SVQ 2) and/or be able to demonstrate direct relevant experience for this role.
