Reporting into the STP workstream Lead to support the Transformation Lead role, with objective to modernize technology, simplify processes and eliminate risks, this is a high visibility individual contributor role requiring extensive interaction with BusinessHeads, CBORC teams and cross functional partners (including O&T, Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, etc) at Global, Region and Country teams spanning across 5 remain countries in Asia and EMEA region.

The role also requires management of the countryresources to drive focus, execution and delivery against the Global Program objectives, while ensuring compliance with the Consent Orders issued by the OCC and FRB.

The incumbent will be responsible for interpretation and dissemination of Program information,process ownership, process improvement, establishing best practices and processes, and development of tracking and reporting capabilities to monitor and drive the adherence to Program governance milestones.

The overall objective of this role is to provide support to Operations, Risk and Technology in alignment with Citi STP and transformation efforts.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Define the standards and best practices for high risk processes within Private Banking, identify any gaps, assess approach to close and execute remediation to mitigate inherent risks.
  • Drive and support the delivery of strategic platform reengineering initiatives, highlighting the manual landscape in high risk processes and rationalising manual touch points. Ensuring operational teams are ready to support new releases and that controlenvironments remain strong.
  • Drive the implementation of initiatives to continuously improve Straight Through Processing (STP) rates and productivity, including the use of robotics, workflow and other innovative reengineering techniques
  • Work and coordinate with a multidisciplinary group of business leads, operations managers, technologists, and senior level management.
  • Serve as technical authority for an area within the business or a set of product offering, providing advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business as well as provide operational assistance
  • Perform analysis to define problems, develop innovative solutions, streamline operational processes and expand Operations capabilities for new products and services
  • Maintain knowledge of Citi's operational procedures, best practices in business strategy and process/quality improvements in order to provide customized business solution recommendations to internal clients
  • Lead projects across multiple Operations areas, serving as an analytical and/or procedural expert and coach lower level team members on operational processes

Skills:


  • Broad and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Private Banking Operations processes & Technology including regulatory requirements and reengineering required.
  • Ability to rationalize and work through organizational change. Proven track record in terms of evaluating process performance across key metrics and envisioning ways to simplify/reengineer the process to create significant improvement across all key variables.
  • Ability to influence and engage in a consultative mode with various senior stakeholders across business, operations, technology and compliance to define the strategic scope, a problemsolving approach and engage a team that effectively will lead the simplification/reengineeringprocess to achieve the envisioned results.
  • Strong ability to extract information by questioning, active listening, and interviewing
  • Ability to build strong client relationships / business partnership, and to thrive in uncertainty and ambiguous situations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to study and familiarize Citigroup's framework including policies, standards, procedures, guidelines and training to provide optimal business solutions.

Qualifications:


  • Experience working with STP practices or simplifying processes within private banking
  • 58 years of experience in implementation of STP for key processes
  • STP in loan processing, payment processing [ACH,SWIFT], E
  • Com, Securities trading is an added advantage
  • Experience in developing risk management programs, identifying all significant processes, risks, and assessing key controls and monitoring associated with these significant processes
  • Selfmotivated and detail oriented
  • Proven organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
