Our client provide opportunities for armed forces veterans to upskill themselves and start a new career in tech.

Working with veterans in the UK, Canada and Australia, they provide training in a variety of fields and they are currently looking for a Developer Trainer to join their UK Team.

They are looking for somebody who sees and values the potential in people, and who is enthusiastic and passionate about helping people improve themselves and begin their new career.

Previous teaching experience is NOT required, they are interested in people with enthusiasm and potential
This is a permanent and Fully Remote position with a growing business trying to work for the societal good.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Creation of engaging and unique content relating to development
  • Continuous upgrade and refinement of courses based on identified painpoints and data
  • Support the coursedevelopment process through quality assurance checks
  • Provide instructor led training in the form of boot camps and power hours
  • Develop, mentor, and deliver projects in conjunction with learners in various phases of development
  • Deliver highquality sessions for B2B and B2C students via online conference
  • Enable student performance through 1:1 engagement, webinars, virtual lessons and forum management
  • Mark student assessments in a timely manner and accurately report on their progress
  • Supporting the delivery of projects to clients in an advisory, delivery or instructional capacity

Skills & Competencies

  • Teaching, coaching, and mentoring skills, empathetic with a desire to help others. Previous teaching experience is NOT required, they are interested in people with enthusiasm and potential
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Able to translate difficult concepts into easytounderstand language
  • Comfortable in speakingup and willing to disagree
  • Strives for selfimprovement, continually curious, desires learning new concepts outside their core competency
  • Can work independently
  • JavaScript
  • Node, React, Angular or Vue
  • Bootstrap
  • Database (SQL, MYSQL, etc.)

Additional Desired Skills

  • HTML and CSS
  • GIT management principles (preferably GitHub)
  • Proficiency with Postman
  • Docker
  • Apache

Package

  • Salary bracket £4065k
  • Fully remote (WFH), anywhere in the UK.
