Description
An amazing opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Client Service Manager to join a well-established Accountancy firm.


The main purpose of the role is to provide a full administration support service to the Senior Client Service Managers along with responsibility for managing a small portfolio of clients and to provide PA support to the team.


Key responsibilities:


  • Responsibility for a small portfolio of clients as designated by the Director with the support of the SCSM / CSM
  • Prepare small sole trader and partnership accounts and associated personal tax returns
  • Prepare proposals for BAS client's in accordance with company and regulatory procedures
  • Have a thorough understanding of workflow throughout the BAS Division
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all software platforms used by the BAS Division
  • Call in books and records in accordance with workflow timescales and maintain database of records held
  • Issue invoices through invoicing system and update the work planner
  • Maintenance of client details on current databases
  • Creation and completion of tasks and jobs as appropriate
  • Scan and upload client records to portal
  • Ensure that all client accounting information is booked in and allocated to the relevant CSM
  • Deliver year end accounts for client review and approval, and submission to HMRC
  • Run client's payrolls
  • Undertake bookkeeping for clients, along with requesting information and filing VAT Returns
  • Ensure that year end accounts are sent to the outsourcing resource, monitoring progress and queries, and allocation to CSMs for timely review

Skills/Knowledge Required:


  • Experience of professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of Xero/Quickbooks and other bookkeeping software
  • Knowledge of payroll process
  • Knowledge of preparing Sole trader and Partnership accounts
  • Knowledge of preparing basic personal tax returns
