European Marketing Officer -Social Media

Salary Up to £35,000 - salary will be reviewed after 6-month probation

Based in Ealing

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Officer to work for a top manufacturer and distributor of tools and accessories in the building industry.

Based in Ealing, the role will assist in driving the department function at a product andmarketing level with a particular emphasis on digital and social media creation.

Looking for enthusiastic individuals with fresh ideas and the organisational skills required to not leave any stone unturned in fulfilling the important responsibilities of thisposition in a timely fashion.

Duties:

To work closely with the Head of Marketing to deliver the timely launch and promotion of new products and campaigns across our channels and via our European regional teams and customer base in each region.
Planning, authoring and executing regular social content across companies Europe's Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube channels.
Assist with the PR push ensuring press releases and relevant marketing collateral is shared with press, publications, and digital influencers.
Leading the planning, development, and delivery of marketing programs with specific objectives across all available channels from start to finish by establishing positioning, identifying target audiences, and delivering measurable results.
Taking ownership of and executing regular key brand digital campaigns
Using and optimising display and video advertising platforms to drive endusers to landing pages.
Identifying, communicating, and collaborating with relevant European influencers across all social platforms.
Monthly reporting on digital progress, influencers, spend and recommend month on month improvements or opportunities.
Assisting across multiple touchpoints in the delivery of European trade shows.
Ensuring branding is consistent across multiple media channels.
Project management of agencies and partners in the delivery and optimisation of microsites and landing pages
Planning, design and authoring of regular multilingual newsletters
To cascade and review utilisation of all our latest marketing assets and campaign packs to our European customer base
To monitor and carry out research on competitor activity including new product launches, competitor campaigns and promotional activity
The creation and implementation of POS, sales literature and display merchandising linked to the product portfolio

Requirements and skills:

3 years+ marketing experience
Experience in marketing new products/ services
Basic experience with Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Premier Pro & Illustrator
Experience with Meta/ Google Advertising
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Experience with Mailchimp/ other EDM software
Ability to sporadically travel to European countries
Excellent Excel/ PowerPoint proficiency
Experience putting together marketing plans/ product roadmaps
Experience following brand guidelines to produce
High Energy levels and ability to work well under pressure
Strong time management skills and ability to meet multiple deadlines at any given time
Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
BSc/BA in PR, marketing, hospitality management, or related field is preferred
Must live in an esay commute to Ealing

Benefits:

Bonus: "on target" bonus of up to 10% of the basic salary. Target and bonus structure to be discussed and agreed mutually.

Holidays: 22 days plus 8 days National Public Holidays. 3 days of your annual entitlement is to be saved to be used between Christmas and New Year closures. For every full year of service, one day will be added to your annual entitlement,to a maximum limit of 5 additional days

Pension scheme: will automatically be enrolled to company's pension scheme. Your contribution will be 5% of your salary, the company will contribute 3%

Laptop: The company will purchase a new laptop.

Expenses: All reasonable expanses in conducting your day-to-day business, such as overnight stay, meals, travels, approved entertainment etc will be covered by the company

Hybrid: After probation, the company will offer working from home, 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home.
