Responsibilities:


  • Ensure that there is a transition plan in place for each Operating Group and Company and its providers
  • Review and assure the new vendor/partner transition plans during the procurement phase and the implementation phase
  • Build an end2end Transition Plan for the transfer to the new Service Lines in conjunction with key internal stakeholders and the external service provider to ensure smooth landing of the Services into IT and Opcos.
  • Identify, review and manage any dependencies both internal and external to ensure a successful outcome
  • Ensure that Change Impact Assessment and related Change & Comms activities are planned and started to ensure that the Business Change is understood, communicated and then implemented. Working with the associated internal teams
  • Identifying, analysing, documenting, and managing programme risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID)
  • Delivering accurate and timely reporting for the programme feeding into weekly and monthly governance forums for senior management consumption
  • Chair and facilitate transition workstream meetings with the vendor and internal teams
  • Working with internal teams such as HR, Commercial, Finance and legal to manage all aspects of the transition that could impact other areas of the business
  • Produce acceptance and readiness criteria with stakeholders to ensure readiness & acceptance of services to BAU teams as appropriate
  • Resource planning for the transition delivery and support the BAU teams in future BAU resource planning to deliver the service ongoing
  • Work with exit management to ensure exit and transition plans dovetail and there is no gap in service
  • Work with commercial teams on 3rd party contacts required for continuity of service, ensuring that novations or terminations are aligned to the transition plan and onboarding of new vendors
  • Work with HR on any potential transfer of staff under transfer of undertakings regulations (TUPE)
  • Maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholder groups across the Organisation
  • Instil programme and project management rigour across all relevant initiatives
  • Lead the daytoday interfaces with the 3rd party outsource provider leadership teams as needed.
  • Proactively investigate pain points to identify opportunities that contribute to moving the needle in direction of project objectives
  • Own and manage the dependencies that the new vendor places on Customer that form part of the internal plan. Often these will be access to information, systems or people that are used to provide the existing service.
  • Champion new ways of working, particularly for globally dispersed teams

Skills:

Must have

  • Excellent Transition Management capabilities with experience of leading successful delivery of multimilliondollar, multicountry & operating company in Application Development and Maintenance, inclusive of people transfer, at a large scale
  • Understanding of the business drivers, service onboarding, integration and management of a new service provider via an outsourced contract
  • Experience of operating in multinational, multibilliondollar revenue organisations with tens of thousands of employees with a global distribution
  • Indepth experience and knowledge of managing 3rd party outsource providers including large scale multinational and country service providers.
  • Strong track record of senior stakeholder management level with ability to influence by collaborating constructively with those stakeholders across the organisation
  • Excellent leadership and people skills with strong ability to lead, inspire, engage, and coach a diverse team and create an inclusive culture across geographical boundaries.
