Ideal Lodgings provide high quality accommodation, short and long term in and around the greater Manchester area, for a variety of guests, Contractors and insurance bookings and also leisure guests.

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and efficient Maintenance person/caretaker to join our friendly team to attend to routine maintenance, repairs and garden duties at our properties.

A full UK driving license & vehicle are essential for this role.

Main duties
The main role will be to maintain our properties to the highest standard, these can include though not exhaustive:

• General repairs and maintenance on all our properties
• Painting and decorating, repairs to walls etc
• Plumbing unblocking sinks, toilets and drains. Increasing pressure on boilers
• General gardening/guttering maintenance, General Waste organisation.
• Carpentry skills building flat pack furniture, hanging doors, pictures etc
• Electrical replacing sockets, blubs, lamps etc
• Moving furniture and making deliveries between properties

Applicant requirements

• Ability to complete general maintenance repairs

- hang doors, repair walls, painting, kitchen repairs etc

• Must have a full UK driving licence & vehicle
• Able to assemble and move furniture
• Must be flexible, role mayinclude weekends and out of hours
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and Trustworthy
• PAT tester (not essential)
• Excellent team player, whilst also holding the ability to work independently on own initiative
• Have the ability to communicate effectively with guests and others when required.
