A pan-European real estate investment manager are recruiting a
Senior Fund Controller (Real Estate) role as a result of internal progression within the business.

This is the most senior Finance role in this part of the business and reportsdirectly to the CFO.


This Senior Fund Controller (Real Estate) role will provide the fund managers, originators and asset managers with close support in the financial reporting, financial management and operation of the commercial real estate platform.

Quarterly investor reporting - preparation and issue of capital statements and suite of investor reporting including bespoke reporting for certain LP's

Annual statutory reporting - management and co-ordination of financial statements and statutory audits, including effective auditor liaison

Financial performance - maintaining and calculating performance track records for funds, and working with fund managers to optimise the financial performance

Treasury - ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet obligations, including the negotiation, implementation and operation of liquidity facilities

Taxation - supervising third party tax advisers in the preparation and submission of tax returns and other taxation reporting requirements of investors for funds and their SPVs

Funds and SPVs - ensuring effective financial controls and operating processes are in place operation to ensure that funds, mandates and SPVs are compliant with investor mandates, and regulatory requirements

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent) Qualification
  • Excellent financial accounting and control experience within the Real Estate fund industry
  • Real Estate fund management experience
  • Strong project, leadership and relationship management skills and experience managing third party relationships
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team, within a fastpaced, deadline driven environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
