ob Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MIG Welder to join our team.

As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures through the use of MIG welding techniques.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.


Duties:


  • Perform MIG welding on various metal components and structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications
  • Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces
  • Ensure all welds meet quality standards and specifications
  • Conduct inspections of welded parts to identify any defects or imperfections
  • Assist in the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
  • Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication is a plus
  • Experience with stick welding is a plus
