Duties:


  • Assure quality of practice across the
    SEND Service
  • Undertake audits and report on findings
  • Quality Assurance of EHCP Plans to support practice improvement
  • Prepare both quantative and qualitative reports for presentation to senior managers, across a range of partner agencies
  • Improve practice through the delivery of the Quality Assurance Framework to ensure the delivery of effective outcomes for children and young people
  • Provide a proactive approach to quality assurance in order to ensure that the quality of work across the
    SEND Service is improved

Requirements of the Auditor:


  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Significant frontline experience in Children's Services
  • Understanding, knowledge and ability to follow guidelines that ensures compliance with Health and Safety at Work, Data Protection and other statutory requirements
  • Understanding and commitment to promoting and implementing the Council's Equal Opportunities policies
  • Knowledge and experience of using IT
