Duties:
- Assure quality of practice across the
SEND Service - Undertake audits and report on findings
- Quality Assurance of EHCP Plans to support practice improvement
- Prepare both quantative and qualitative reports for presentation to senior managers, across a range of partner agencies
- Improve practice through the delivery of the Quality Assurance Framework to ensure the delivery of effective outcomes for children and young people
- Provide a proactive approach to quality assurance in order to ensure that the quality of work across the
SEND Service is improved
Requirements of the Auditor:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant frontline experience in Children's Services
- Understanding, knowledge and ability to follow guidelines that ensures compliance with Health and Safety at Work, Data Protection and other statutory requirements
- Understanding and commitment to promoting and implementing the Council's Equal Opportunities policies
- Knowledge and experience of using IT
