Duties:

Assure quality of practice across the
SEND Service
Undertake audits and report on findings
Quality Assurance of EHCP Plans to support practice improvement
Prepare both quantative and qualitative reports for presentation to senior managers, across a range of partner agencies
Improve practice through the delivery of the Quality Assurance Framework to ensure the delivery of effective outcomes for children and young people
Provide a proactive approach to quality assurance in order to ensure that the quality of work across the
SEND Service is improved

Requirements of the Auditor:

Degree or equivalent in social work
Current Social Work England registration
Significant frontline experience in Children's Services
Understanding, knowledge and ability to follow guidelines that ensures compliance with Health and Safety at Work, Data Protection and other statutory requirements
Understanding and commitment to promoting and implementing the Council's Equal Opportunities policies
Knowledge and experience of using IT
