Ecologist - Cardiff
I am looking for an Ecologist to join a brilliant team in Cardiff.

This role involves working within a fantastic team with a great reputation You will get the opportunity to work alongside the client, authorities, and other consultants to provide brilliantecological surveys.

The team primarily focuses on identifying, managing and mitigating for protected species and habitats and are passionate to deliver first class services.

They are a great team of experienced ecologists who offer a wide range of specialistadvice across the UK.

What are the Responsibilities?

  • You will carry out extended phase 1 habitat surveys.
  • You will be involved in a range of species surveys such as great crested newts, bats, reptiles, badgers and birds.
  • You will write reports in relation to PEA, EcIA and species survey reports.
What are the Requirements?

  • A degree in a Ecology or a relevant discipline.
  • Experience working within a consultancy.
  • You will hold a protected species license (preferably bat).
  • Experience in performing a range of ecological surveys to identify ecological constraints.
  • Brilliant report writing skills.
  • Membership of CIEEM.
