Description
As an Asset Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting our Engineering functions to deliver an effective maintenance service.

You will be a key intermediary between our front-line maintenance teams and systems teams, attending site inspections, validating asset information, and recording data that drives compliance, processes, and maintenance schedules.

This diverse, customer-focused role will enable you to build relationships, work across the airport and contribute to safeguarding our extensive asset base and future strategy.


Your role will involve:


  • Working closely with our Engineering team to ensure the accurate capture of data, relating to our £15bn asset base.
  • Maintaining and continuously improving data capture, to ensure accuracy, compliance end user value.
  • Building key relationships across the Heathrow estate, to understand scope of works and clearly articulate development activity.
  • Working with our business partners to support the compilation of asset performance, replacement, and refurbishment plans.
  • Maintaining asset data integrity and addressing any gaps in the asset database.
  • Providing management information to support key decisionmaking activities.

These skills are essential:


  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to work in collaboration with a diverse team.
  • A basic technical knowledge and experience of operating Maximo asset management system.
  • An understanding of business processes supported by our asset management systems such as asset management, asset integration and capital projects.
  • A passion and drive to continuously improve our systems, through accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of assets, systems, and improvement methodologies is desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence essential due to travel across the airport.
