The children, staff and Governors of Windy Nook Primary School are looking for an outstanding, inspirational KS1 teacher to join their school as the KS1 Phase Leader.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for middle leadership experience, to develop their skills further and play a crucial role in school improvement experience in a supportive and aspirational environment.

  • An outstanding KS1 teacher able to communicate your passion for learning;
  • Confident and effective in the use of KS1 assessment procedures to promote and accelerate pupil progress;
  • Friendly, flexible, outgoing and a good team player;
  • Able to create a stimulating learning environment that supports and celebrates learning;
  • Creative, energetic, enthusiastic and able to reflect effectively on your own practice;
  • An excellent communicator able to work successfully with a wide range of stakeholders and partners;

  • Is an outstanding and experienced KS1 practitioner with high expectations and a commitment to raising standards
  • Has excellent classroom management skills and is proficient in planning, assessment and raising attainment
  • Has high expectations of children's achievement and behaviour and can create a positive learning environment in which all children can succeed
  • Is dedicated to their own professional development and in supporting the development of others
  • Is nurturing, patient and kind and be willing to invest time in developing strong relationships with our children
  • Is willing to be involved in the corporate life of the school, supporting the informal as well as the formal curriculum
  • Is able to work as part of a team and foster positive relationships with staff, pupils, parents and governors.
  • Is prepared to make a valuable contribution to Windy Nook Primary and 'go the extra mile'.
