Description
Nurseplus is looking for Family Support Workers in Lowestoft and the surrounding areas.

As a Family Support Worker you will help and provide practical and emotional support to children and their families. You will be required to manage a workload whilst sticking to a schedule.

You may also be required to escort vulnerable children to and from school whilst providing efficient, safe and effective guidance at all times to ensure their health, safety and welfare.


As part of this role, you will be tasked with a complex caseload of vulnerable young people and families to provide support and deliver interventions to bring about substantial and consistent behavioural improvement.

You will also ultimately be required to improve overall outcomes and decrease dependency on external services.

What Nurseplus needs from you as a Family Support Worker:

  • You must be over 18 to apply
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Previous experience in the UK in a similar role


  • Relevant NVQ level

  • A Full UK Driving License is desirable but not essential
  • A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively
