The Opportunity:


Due to recent promotions, we are currently looking for Senior Risk Consultants to join our Risk and Governance department and impact the daily operation of the business.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving forward essential activities to ensure compliance with the risk framework and methodology, providing support and challenge to line 1 risk map owners and providing risk input into key projects and initiatives.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those with previous Risk experience looking for the next step in their career or someone looking for an exciting challenge


You'll be:


  • Monitoring adherence to the Risk Framework and provide support, challenge, advice and guidance to drive improvements in operational procedures
  • Ensuring that current control performance and any known emerging risks are appropriately represented within the risk management framework and in the top down risks are reported
  • Producing internally focused and client management information relating to risk
  • Acting as a key contact point for internal stakeholders and the through regular engagement sessions and attendance at key risk related forums
  • Undertaking risk assessments of the operational impact of any business changes, initiatives or project activity
  • Have previous Risk Management experience within Financial Services sector
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Have the ability to negotiate with stakeholders at all levels internally and externally
  • Are well versed in planning and time management
  • Are analytical and have a strong attention to detail
  • Have Risk based qualifications (desirable)
