EYFS Teaching Assistant

Full-Time Position

Temporary position

3rd March st August 2023
Tradewind Recruitment is a well-established educational agency that specialises in providing staffing solutions to schools across the UK. We are currently seeking a Full-time Nursery Teaching Assistant to join one of our Kirkby-based Primary Schools, fromMarch 2023.


Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the classroom teacher in planning and delivering the EYFS curriculum;
  • Providing a safe and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development;
  • Supporting children with their personal care needs, such as toileting and feeding;
  • Observing and monitoring children's development and progress, and providing feedback to the classroom teacher;
  • Liaising with parents and carers on a regular basis to discuss children's progress and development.

Requirements:


  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education;
  • Proven experience working with young children in a similar role;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • A nurturing and caring approach to working with children;
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team;
  • A valid DBS check.
