Sheet Metal Worker/Fabricator/Welder

About the Role:

Our client has an immediate vacancy for a qualified Mig/Tig Welder Fabricator working alongside a small, dedicated team of sheet metal workers/fabricators, you will be responsible for, and must have experience in:

  • Fabricating jobs to an acceptable quality standard using engineering drawings works instructions/specifications and Manufacturing Information Documents
  • Fabricating bespoke products from mild/stainless steel and aluminum
  • Experience in MIG and TIG welding is essential
  • Selfchecking and being accountable for own quality of work.
  • Driving license is essential as will be required to regularly work on various sites
  • A forklift license would be an advantage
  • Experience using general fabrication workshop equipment

This role requires the applicant to be:

  • Able to work individually or within a small team of sheet metal workers/fabricators
  • Able to read customer and engineering drawings
The role will suit a motivated person who takes pride in their work fabricating bespoke products. A great role as part of an open and growing team where your contribution will be visible.

Hours:
Monday - Thursday 7.00 am pm and Friday 7.00 am pm

Over-time available - Paid at Time and a Half Saturday, Currently Full 7 Hour days and Double Time Sunday
