Based in Colchester, Essex, we have an excellent opportunity for a
Stores Operative to join our team.

The role is a permanent position and you will be required to ensure the delivery of the highest standards in line with GMP and Health and Safety Standards.

This is a weekly paid position, and the starting hourly rate is £11.44 per hour.

Monday to Friday

The role:

Working in a small team in a warehouse environment, the job will involve receiving goods, stock counting, and moving stock from one location to another and issuing of stock to internal departments and filling in relevant paperwork.

Maintaining safe & clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations clean.

Applicants should:

Valid Fork lift licence preferred but not essential.
Have good numeracy and Literacy skills.
Have communication skills both verbally and written
Have a good work ethos, a flexible working approach to tasks and hours and be able to manage their own time effectively to achieve daily tasks and targets within a small team.
Show attention to detail
Have the physical capability to be able to manoeuvre and lift loads up to 25k
Understanding of warehouse/ stock rotation
Be able to work in freezers and chillers (PPE Supplied)

We are situated in an ideal location on Colchester Business Park (close to the A12) free on-site parking, provision for secure bike and scooter parking and good links to public transport.

Full protective uniform or PPE is supplied together with free tea and coffee.
