Description

Our Wireline UK team are looking for a Workshop and Materials Supervisor to support the growth of our Wireline UK and International business.

This position is full time and will be based in either Blackburn or Portlethen, Aberdeen (to be confirmed).


This is a great opportunity for an experienced workshop technician ready for the next step in their career - ready to manage a workshop environment and contribute to setting up and streamlining processes.


Responsibilities include:

  • Heavily involved in building and tailoring a new workshop to required standard.
  • Work alongside the Operations Coordinators, and Field Engineer team to plan and coordinate loadouts.
  • Review, track, and update certification of wireline equipment and rig up gear on company ERP software.
  • Manage wireline base inventory, including offshore workshops & PCE.
  • Coordinating with the logistics team with the preparation of loadouts.
  • Mentor other team members to ensure optimum service quality achieved.

_Education:
_

  • Have a high school qualification or technical certification

_Experience:
_

  • Have previous experience in a Wireline related role (Desireable).
  • 35 years' experience in a similar role

_Personal skills:
_

  • Ability to work unattended.
  • Be able to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings or documentation.
  • Be fluent in English.
